Summary

• delete molecule-core/workspace/ after standalone runtime local verification
• remove core-owned runtime publish/build workflows and build-from-workspace scripts
• keep CI / Python Lint & Test as a guard that fails if workspace/ or legacy packaging scripts return
• update external runtime install snippets to use the Gitea package registry
• update docs to point runtime edits at molecule-ai-workspace-runtime

Verification

Runtime repo local gate before deletion:

• pytest tests/ -q: 241 passed
• ruff check --select=E9,F63,F7,F82 molecule_runtime/: passed
• python -m build: passed
• twine check dist/*: passed
• clean wheel install + import smoke: passed
• molecule-mcp --help: passed

Core gate:

• python3 -m pytest tests/test_lint_workflow_yaml.py tests/test_lint_required_no_paths.py -q: 47 passed
• go test ./internal/handlers -run 'TestExternal|TestMCP|TestTenant|TestRegistry|TestHeartbeat': passed
• python3 -m unittest discover -p 'test_*.py' -v in scripts/ops: 34 passed
• python3 -m pytest .gitea/scripts/tests -q: 145 passed
• go test ./... from workspace-server: passed
• core runtime SSOT guard: passed
• workflow YAML parse: passed

Dependency

Merge after molecule-ai-workspace-runtime#24 so the standalone repo owns publish before core removes the legacy copy.
